I. OVERVIEW OF OSTEOARTHRITIS

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. Some people call it degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. It occurs most frequently in the hands, hips, and knees.

With OA, the cartilage within a joint begins to break down and the underlying bone begins to change. These changes usually develop slowly and get worse over time. OA can cause pain, stiffness, and swelling. In some cases it also causes reduced function and disability; some people are no longer able to do daily tasks or work.

II. INGREDIENTS

 INGREDIENTS AMOUNT FUNCTION
Vitamin D (as D3 Cholecalciferol) 1400 IU 175% Bone Growth and Remodeling: Vitamin D is involved in the regulation of bone growth and the remodeling of bone tissue. It helps in the formation of new bone cells and the removal of old or damaged bone cells, contributing to the overall maintenance of bone structure.
Glucosamine Sulfate 2 KCL 600 mg

Improved Joint Function: By promoting joint health and flexibility, glucosamine may help improve overall joint function. This is particularly relevant for weight-bearing joints, such as those in the knees and hips, which also contribute to the overall stability and health of the bones.

Prevention of Osteoporosis: Some studies suggest that glucosamine may have a role in preventing bone loss associated with osteoporosis. However, more research is needed to establish a clear link between glucosamine supplementation and osteoporosis prevention.
Collagen Peptides (Hydrolyzed) 290 mg

Collagen as a Structural Protein: Collagen is a major component of bones, providing the structural framework for bone tissues. Consuming collagen peptides can contribute to the body's collagen production, supporting the maintenance and repair of bone structure.

Enhanced Bone Healing: Collagen is involved in the early stages of the bone healing process. Consuming collagen peptides may support the body's ability to repair and regenerate bone tissue in response to injuries or fractures.
Collagen Type II (From Chicken Collagen) 200 mg

Cartilage Maintenance: Collagen Type II is crucial for the maintenance and repair of cartilage, the connective tissue that cushions joints. Healthy cartilage is essential for protecting bones from wear and tear during movement.

Reduced Joint Pain: Some studies suggest that supplementation with Collagen Type II may help reduce joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation, which can be beneficial for individuals with conditions affecting the joints and bones.
